Jennifer Steele, Founder & Principal

Jennifer has over 20 years of experience as a trusted advisor working with not for profit organizations, associations and Boards of Directors, as well as many private sector companies. She specializes in strategic planning, human dynamics, crisis intervention, organizational development, conflict resolution, governance, succession planning, and management coaching. She has facilitated hundreds of strategic planning retreats, community engagement sessions and organizational development projects.  Jennifer holds a BA Honours from McMaster University, and is certified at the advanced level in Mediation/Alternative Dispute Resolution (Faculty of Law, University of Windsor). She has multiple additional credentials in consulting and facilitation, Jennifer is an active volunteer and community representative and she serves on several Boards of Directors.

Frank P. Viti, Partner 

Frank brings 20+ years of senior executive and CEO experience leading organizations in building corporate value propositions, strategic planning and innovative revenue generation.  Frank’s skills are highly valued in all three sectors including private, public and non-profit. He has been a key leader in North America’s non-profit and governmental sectors for over two decades having worked within healthcare, social services and environmental agencies.

Frank‘s undergraduate degree in cultural anthropology provides a unique and intelligent perspective on organizational design, change management, performance measurement and human dynamics.  Having earned his MBA at the Kellogg School of Management and the Schulich School of Business, he brings specialized expertise in the areas of business planning, non-profit management, market re-positioning, revenue modeling, cost containment and strategic resource redeployment.

Frank achieved his Certified Fund Raising Executive designation in 2001.  He has championed innovative and high revenue initiatives related to advancement, strategic corporate partnerships, social marketing, consumer product certification and corporate sponsorship.
Frank remains an active volunteer in the Aurora community as well as supporting Federal Health Advisory Committee’s and Research Councils.

David Lewis & Associates

David is an expert in communication, behavioural management and conflict resolution.  He has specialized for 25 years in the "people business", teaching and facilitating.  David has deep expertise in the process of behavioural management within the complete spectrum of recruiting, selecting, training, managing and providing an environment where employees can motivate themselves.

David is a counsellor at the Clark Institute in Toronto and has worked as a lecturer at the University of Florida.  He has worked extensively with entrepreneurial and family businesses as well as independent divisions of larger multinational companies.

Jennifer and David have worked in partnership serving many clients in communication, organizational behaviour and crisis management since 1994.

Written Communication and Editing Specialists

Dr. James Steele is an Adjunct Professor of English at Carleton University, where he also served as Managing Editor of  the academic journal "English Studies in Canada".  Dr. Steele has taught, published and done consulting work in the field of advanced literacy. He has assisted Aurora Consulting Group with editing reports and with special projects, including analysis of communication problems and writing skills.

Heather Steele worked for many years as a Director and Editing Consultant in the public sector, including the Canadian Centre for Management Development, the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, and the CBC.  She has often collaborated with Aurora Consulting Group by developing and editing client documents, speeches, and other communications and by providing valuable comments on their substance.
